A Day in the Life...

Daily Bike Rides!

Afternoon Snack!
Grapes and Popcorn (plus carrot sticks for Aspen) one of their favorite snacks--when I won't give them candy of course!

Ella stopped napping regularly just after her 2ND birthday, not because I wanted her too though! This is a common occurrence in our house during 'quiet time', finding Ella passed out on the floor our couch. I just wish I could get her to take a regular early afternoon nap instead of the tantrums i get till 4:30 when she finally passes out after screaming in her room and then messes up bed time :p. She is such a busy body 2 year old that she won't stop until her body just quits on her!
Another 'quiet time' occurrence... the girls watching a Disney Princess Movie.
I LOVE being a stay at home mom (even when I do complain about the house work, and never getting out, etc) My children are such a blessing and seeing how much they have grown and I've grown over the last 5 (yes I've been a mom for almost 5 years!!) has been amazing. I'm looking forward to adding our 3rd little princess in less then 5 months!

Spending Time with Great Grandma and Grandpa Grassman

Just after Easter Pat needed a ride to Winter Haven to be able to bring her parents down to Cape Coral to stay with them. So the girls and I piled into the car and off we went for a mid-Spring Break adventure!
The Rehab Center Grandma was at (she had just had partial hip replacement!) was really nice, this was just outside her wing.

Aspen picked this lovely bouquet for Great Grandam
She was pretending she was the Fairy Garden Princess and this was her castle.
While we waited for the OK from Grandma's Dr to be released from the Rehab Center I took the girls to Denny's for lunch. Aspen got pizza and mashed potatoes with brown gravy (she ate every bite!)
Ella got her usual Mac'n'cheese and french fries.
Here we are all buckled up for the ride home (about 2 1/2 hr drive)
Then over the weekend while my In-laws were out of town the girls and I spent a lot of time with Great Grandma and Grandpa arranging the in home nurse/physical therapy and making sure everyone was taking their meds.

It has been really nice to see my girls building relationships with their Great Grandparents. It has also been a great blessing to me to be able to serve them. Grandma is doing better, but now Grandpa is in the Hospital and has been diagnosed with Bone Cancer and we're not sure what will be going on from here. We are continuing to spend as much time with them as we can while they wait for Grandpa to feel good enough to get him back to the Farm in Indiana. Please remember to keep all the elderly in your family in your prayers and as close to you as possible. They have so much to pass on to the next generations!

17 weeks 4 Days

Aspen loves to use the camera so I thought I would let her practice taking some pictures and get some of my current 'belly' at the same time.

Easter Weekend

Before the glitter...

AFTER!

Easter Bunny Visit
Aspen going after her hidden basket

After the girls found their baskets the got to look for hidden eggs with more goodies in them!
One special egg had a message to help them find an extra surprise...The Princess and the Frog DVD!
For Easter Dinner/Lunch we all went out to Brian and Karen's house. The girls had a fun time playing with the cousins and they even had an egg hunt in their back yard!

We had a great Easter Weekend and are now into Spring Break. Hopefully the fun will last all week long!

Baby Update

For those last stragglers who haven't heard the news yet, yes we are expecting baby #3. I am due Sept 10th-and my VERY kind Dr. has promised me I will NOT have a Sept 11th baby! This past Friday, April 2nd, was our 6th Wedding Anniversary AND our ultrasound. We learned that we will be having another little Girl in the family. We are getting so excited about having 3 little princesses in our family (and Brent's excited about not having to buy anything!) We have no names picked out-Ella didn't have a for sure name until she was born! I've thought about sticking with our 'vowel' names that we didn't plan when we named our first two girls Aspen and Ella. That would have me looking at names that start with I,O,U, and I'm throwing in the sometimes Y. I have also begun to feel the baby move at about 15 1/2-16 weeks, one of my favorite things about being pregnant! One of these day's I might actually feel like having my picture taken and I'll post some baby bump photos (since I've had a baby bump since 10 weeks...) Check back for updates with our growing family, and leave comments I love feedback!

Snack Time!

Aspen and Ella having an afternoon snack of popcorn.
I just thought it was too cute to pass up documenting!

Easter Dresses Part ll

Here are some photo's of the girls in their Easter Dresses! It was a gloomy day so I didn't take very many, I think I'll have to put them in the dresses sometime this next week when it's nice out and get some better pictures. The love to twirl in their dresses...Ella's nursery leader told me she couldn't get her to stop twirling and talking about her new dress!

A rare moment (but getting more common!) of sisterly love!
