Thanks to Grandma Culbertson we were able to go to the County Fair for Free! We had a good time walking around and getting some snacks, but if you ask Aspen the high light of the trip was the petting zoo. She LOVED all the little goats and sheep that were there. She got a little cup of feed and went around feeding and petting them.
This guy was always looking for a hand out!

Ella was not sure of the animals, she snuggled with Daddy most of the time we were there.
There is a really funny story with these particular group of goats. Aspen wanted to feed a specific one, who didn't seem to interested in the food, but Aspen was determined! There was another one who kept pushing in to get the food from Aspen's hand. Well after this happened a few more times Aspen decided she had had enough! She head butted the goat right in the horns and said "NOT FOR YOU GO AWAY!" then she head butted it two more times. This all happened so quickly...as soon as I could react I backed her off from that goat because these goats do have HORNS and can head butt HARD! Then we all had a good laugh because she was so mad at that goat for getting in her way!
At the end of the night Aspen and I rode on ride. She chose the Carousel and enjoyed riding Harry (the choice name for all Carousel horses ridden by Aspen). We had a great time and can't wait till next year!
