This may be a few days late but...Ells is 9 month old! Here is an update on our little one....

Ella is a very happy and content little girl-mind you I didn't say quiet! It looks like she is continuing in the ways of big sister and the happier she is the louder she gets. Some of her favorite phrases are "DADADADADA" , yipping like a dog (some ladies in Wal-Mart the other day actually thought I had a dog in my cart!) and spitting or "making raspberries" as Aspen says. She doesn't just make the noise she has discovered that if she sticks out her tongue all this fun wet stuff comes flying out! According to my at home measurements she is just over 26 in tall and 17 lbs, a constant bundle of energy!

Ella loves to eat, she eats all kinds of baby food (except peach's it isn't pretty) even the stage 3 foods with all the little chucks in it! Also some of her favorite foods are (in no order)
1-pancakes
2-muffins
3-Honey Nut Cheerios
4-Pizza Crust
5-Ice Cream
6-Popsicles

Just over a month ago when we were in Utah Ella was able to rock back and for on hands and knees now shes....

GONE IN 60 SECONDS!

Then a few days later I went to get Ella up from her nap and this is what greeted me!

Now I have once again become the human Jungle Gym Ella loves to crawl, climb, and fall all over me!

The little falls are nice sometimes because it leads to a little snuggle time.

Ella can now pull up on anything there are a few of her favorite places
1-couches/chairs
2-Aspen's step stool
3-Her crib
4-Mommy
5-WALLS/Glass Doors

She has discovered that when Aspen is in her booster seat away from the table she can reach her tray, so now we have to watch Jules AND Ella when she is eating.

Ella will play 'fetch' and roll back and forth this ball for 30 minutes at a time! She laughs and smiles and rolls around having a great time and its so nice, if the ball rolls off she WANTS to go get it, so I get to sit on the floor and be still for a few minutes! Thankfully she has a few toys that I can let her play with!

For the last month I've been bathing the girls together. Man does this make my life easier, they both love it and are both getting clean and I know where both of them are at the same time! These pictures are from the first time I'm tossed them in together.

4th of July

I know these pictures are a little late, but with the camera battery dieing then the USB cable going missing, they have been stuck on my camera for awhile! This is the girls all dressed up for the 4th of July. The overalls Aspen is wearing were actually mine when I was a little girl!

Utah Trip!!!--Swimming

Okay so I'm going to break down the trip into different events and posts so you don't have just one really really long post!!

We had a blast in Utah with my family. Amy (my SIL married to Keith) came up often with her three kids Steven-5, Kate-3, and Ryan 19-months. One of their favorite things to do was to play in the kiddie pool that grandma has.


Amy even got in and swam with the kids and they loved climbing all over her here they were pretending she was a train.

Ryan a.k.a RyeRye wasn't as interested in swimming, more in just running around in as little clothing as possible!



Aspen and Steven got along really well, and right off the bat. Whenever they were in the pool they liked to pretend to be water snakes or alligators and the would crawl around on their hands making make believe houses and having Kate bring them food and pet them.

Home Again, Home Again Jiggigty Jig...

Well, we are back home in good old Florida. We had a great almost 2 weeks in Utah with my family and a few of my friends. We even had the opportunity to go to a family reunion for my mom's Smith side of the family and we learned some family history about her father and his parents and got to see some cousins I've not seen in many years ( and many people I've NEVER met!) My mom has a large family 1 brother has 6 kids who where all there with their children, her 2nd brother was there with three of his 4 kids and her sister was there with 8 of her ten kids and all of their children! It was crazy but fun. One day we took Dane to downtown Salt Lake City to see some of the church sites since this was his first time to Utah. We'll I'll have some pictures up some time next week--they were all on my parents camera and I forgot to make a cd of them and that will have to wait till my dad gets back from Mexico next week.
